We have several things on the horizon at the Gallery to welcome Spring during the month of March. We will be featuring new painted glass work by Nella Joseph. To the right is her "Skaneateles" wine glass.
Also during March we will be having our Shamrock Sale! We will have many items in the gallery on sale as we work to make room for new pieces. Come by for some fabulous deals! Some artists will be including "seconds", pieces that have very minor (often imperceptible) flaws at reduced prices. Other sale items will be pieces that are just ready for new homes.
On Saturday, March 22 from 12 to 3 Judy Witkin will be demonstrating how to make a beaded floral bracelet. Judy creates jewelry made using bead-weaving techniques. Below is a sampling of her bracelets. The demonstration is free to all!

It's Magnetic!
This is a fun photo that our resident photographer Tom Dwyer took of magnetic "recipe holders" made by woodworker Fred Weisskopf. These handy objects are customer favorites, great for holding a favorite photo, memo, or recipe…..They also make excellent gifts or stocking stuffers!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Valentine's Day is fast approaching and we invite you to have a look at some gift ideas at Gallery 54. One of the things we are most known for is the wide variety of handcrafted jewelry we carry in the shop. Donna Smith is one of our talented jewelry artists, and also one of our co-owners. She creates pieces using vintage findings in addition to being a talented metal smith.
While our customers love her jewelry, the owners at Gallery 54 also appreciate her talent for merchandising. Donna oversees the design of our front windows, and creates a new display and motif every season for us all to enjoy. Below is a view of our current window display, best appreciated in person!
